The terrace systems Terrace, Terrace+ and Terrace Massive and the planks of the fencing system of Inoutic are fully recyclable. Inoutic also offers a take-back guarantee. The composite WPC, which is made from plastic, sustainably cultivated fir timber and material-optimising additives, has been PEFC-certified. The PEFC certificate confirms sustainable and responsible forest management that strictly rejects the use of pesticides and forest clearance, for example. The wood component in the WPC planks is 100 percent fir timber. This grows much faster in comparison with tropical timbers.
Various recycling possibilities
Smaller left-over pieces from the Twinson planks (WPC) can be disposed of in the usual way in the household refuse. If a larger volume is involved, it is 95 percent certain that this can be disposed of at the local incineration plant. However, Twinson products can also be returned directly to Inoutic. Smaller quantities are collected and sent back to Inoutic using a supplied bag. The product is then sent to the company's own internal recycling process. Larger quantities can be collected on pallets and likewise returned to Inoutic. Inoutic charges a fee to cover the logistical costs. In this case, the WPC material is also incorporated into the internal recycling process.

Dispose of WPC quickly and easily
When a terrace reaches the end of its useful life, the question arises as to what to do with the materials. In contrast to hardwoods and stone slabs, WPC products such as Twinson can even be disposed of in the household refuse. Tropical timber or stone planks must be disposed of at a collection point and can also rarely be recycled. Unlike Twinson products, no new products can be made from them because wood for example loses a lot of its quality over time.
With Twinson, the properties of WPC include environmental compatibility and recyclability in addition to toy standard. This means that safe toys can be made from this material. The independent Development and Examination Laboratory for Wood Technology "Entwicklungs- und Prüflabor Holztechnologie" (EPH) has certified this high WPC quality in line with EN 71-3. One positive effect besides recycling factors is that children can play on Twinson terraces without any safety concerns, and that it poses no danger even in the event of mouth contact.
